It is time to play outside!

Because while Seattle is geographically blessed, it is climatically damned. It is as if whoever created the Pacific Northwest first sprinkled mountains, lakes and cute little chains of islands… and then covered it with a down blanket of clouds.

When the sun does peek its head out, one of my favorite places to go is Discovery Park.

And just when I think I’m being outdoorsy and athletic for taking advantage of the sunny day to take a hike, there is always someone who’s gotta show me up.
